Europe

It is always deeply moving when students choose to devote their lives to music. In June 2025, Violette, Augustin and Léo were leaving the Redon conservatoire to take the plunge into the wider world.

Touched by their love of music and their bold choice, I wanted to write them a farewell gift and an encouragement: a piece that would put them in the spotlight, accompanied by an orchestra.

Europe was premiered on 28 June 2025 at the Carré Neuf in Redon, under my direction, with Violette Moreau (trumpet), Augustin Moreau (euphonium), Léo Maurin (vibraphone) and the Concordance orchestra of the Redon Agglomération conservatoire (Le 7).
